my first bike was a cb750. it was stripped down and reworked into a drag racer, and it was never actually street-legal. and i rode it like hell up until and after i dropped it rounding a rock-salt-covered corner just a little too fast. that was on a day in february, almost 10 years ago. no bike i’ve had or ridden since ever made me feel quite as…airborne.
